How to Transfer Your Domain
Follow these simple steps to move your domain to Cloudpedia and enjoy seamless management, enhanced security, and top-tier support.
Prepare Your Domain
Unlock your domain at the current registrar and retrieve the EPP / authorization code.
Initiate the Transfer
Enter your domain name and EPP code in the form above, then click Transfer.
Authorize the Transfer
Check your email for a confirmation request and approve the transfer to complete it.
Step 1 Prepare Your Domain
Before initiating a transfer, log in to your current registrar's control panel. Ensure the domain is unlocked (registrar lock disabled) and that the WHOIS contact email is accessible to you. Request the EPP / authorization code — this is usually found under "Domain Settings" or "Transfer Domain" in your current registrar's panel. Make sure the domain is more than 60 days old and not within 60 days of renewal.
Step 2 Initiate the Transfer
Enter your full domain name (e.g., example.com) in the Domain field above, then paste your EPP / authorization code into the Auth Code field. If prompted, complete the CAPTCHA verification. Click the Transfer button to add the domain to your cart and proceed to checkout. Your registration period will be extended by one year upon successful transfer.
Step 3 Authorize the Transfer
After completing checkout, you will receive a transfer authorization email at the WHOIS contact address. Click the confirmation link to approve the transfer. Transfers typically complete within 5–7 days. You can monitor progress from your client area. If you do not receive the email within 24 hours, check your spam folder or contact our support team.
After you approve, the transfer will begin and typically completes within 5–7 days. Your domain expiry date will be extended by one year at no extra cost. Some country-code TLDs (ccTLDs) may have different transfer policies — contact support if you need assistance.
